Biography:
Gunnar Schultze is a member of the executive board and a partner at CPC AG, focusing on change management, business transformation and leadership development. He took on leadership responsibility early in his career and has held every position from middle management to managing director. That lived leadership experience goes into every consulting project.
We are delighted: the Süddeutsche Zeitung / SZ Institut has recognized us in its current study of the Best Management Consultancies for SMEs 2025. We took 6th place and improved considerably compared with previous years.
Basis of the award
The evaluation is based on an independent survey of 1,528 executives from medium-sized companies. Those surveyed were decision-makers in middle management and above who have already worked with management consultancies or decided on their use.
The consultancies were assessed on the basis of six criteria:
- competence
- client orientation
- methodological diversity
- implementation capability
- confidentiality
- communication ability
The results were weighted according to the importance of the criteria and combined into an index – only consultancies with a value above 100 received an award.

Our strength shows especially in the area of change management. Medium-sized companies today face profound transformations – from digitalization through SAP S/4HANA conversions to new organizational and leadership models. Our approach combines well-founded methods with hands-on implementation and guides employees through change in a targeted way.
