Biography:
Michael Kempf is a member of the Executive Board and a partner at CPC AG, specializing in change management, organizational development, and executive coaching. With over 30 years of consulting experience, he has guided numerous large corporations, public administrations, and medium-sized organizations through far-reaching transformations. In doing so, he designs and implements customized change architectures tailored to each organization’s specific structure.

The decision has been made: We have been officially named the No. 1 consulting firm in the Change Management category for the 2026/2027 period. This marks the fifth consecutive time we have maintained our position at the top – a confirmation of our work that we are very pleased about.

When it comes to the quality of consulting services, some highly specialized providers are outperforming the "Big Three" – McKinsey, BCG, and Bain. This is precisely what the "Hidden Champions Award" confirms. For over 20 years, the Scientific Society for Management and Consulting (WGMB) and the business magazine Capital have been presenting this award to selected specialists. It is considered the oldest and most prestigious seal of quality for consultants in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Independent procedure instead of application

The title "Hidden Champion" cannot be applied for or purchased. The preliminary selection is made solely by an independent panel of experts. Subsequently, over 1,000 executives evaluate the competence of the consulting services in telephone interviews. The result of the current survey: business decision-makers attribute greater expertise in change management to us than to the major market leaders and the most important specialist consultants.

Our focus: Successfully shaping change

In a world shaped by AI, digitalization, and globalization, the ability to change is increasingly decisive for success. This is exactly where we come in. For more than 30 years, we have been helping organizations master transformations—regardless of the complexity of the task.

Our approach ensures that managers and employees not only understand change, but also actively shape it. Our goal remains clear: to create successful organizations where people enjoy working.

We would like to take this award as an opportunity to say thank you: to our team for their tireless efforts and to our customers for their long-standing trust and successful cooperation.
