Change Management Certification with the TÜV Seal
How an organisation handles change is a decisive success factor in today's fast-moving markets. With digitalisation, globalisation and Industry 4.0, companies have to adapt quickly to new market conditions in order to stay competitive. Alongside developing new solutions, implementing them across the organisation is becoming ever more important. That is why more and more specialists and managers are looking for well-founded change management certifications to guide that transition professionally.
To use change management as a targeted instrument for the innovative transformation of tomorrow's companies, we need to improve the systematic training of our people. That is how we help you improve overall performance, support you in growing fast in a constantly changing market and lead organisations towards sustainable development.

The Certified Associate in Change Management with a qualification audited by TÜV Rheinland
As a multi-award-winning hidden champion for change management, we developed a certification programme for change management together with TÜV Rheinland. The Certified Associate in Change Management with a qualification audited by TÜV Rheinland is based on our field-tested methodology, the CPC Change Compass, and focuses on building practical competence step by step. Our vision is to enable people to shape change in their organisation successfully.

“The CPC Change Compass is built on real project experience and makes change management immediately applicable.”
Anne Babilon-Teubenbacher, Partner at CPC

Why a recognised certification is indispensable today
Change processes rarely fail for lack of strategy – they fail when the people involved have no structured change know-how. Anyone who wants to lead transformations successfully needs more than theoretical knowledge. They need a consistent methodological foundation. Our change management certifications close exactly that gap: they combine recognised methodology with the real-world experience of more than 2,500 change projects.
Who should get certified?
- Project managers and project leads
- Employees in HR, organisational development, transformation and strategy consulting
- Consultants and freelancers
- High potentials and future leaders
- Students and people changing career direction in the fields listed above
- Anyone interested in change management

What do I take away from the change management qualification?
- Gain an overview of the background and the relevance of change management
- Get to know various established change management methods and their fields of application
- Make change management tangible through a systematic, practice-oriented approach
- Acquire the competence to run change management projects in your day-to-day work
Our method
Our method comprises five process groups and four knowledge areas that provide a structured framework for planning, implementing and sustainably embedding change projects. These building blocks help participants shape and steer change processes in a targeted and effective way.
The five process groups
- Initiation: Defining the scope and the intended impact of the change project. Gathering and assessing initial information about the effects of the change.
- Planning: Defining and planning measures across the knowledge areas. Developing a strategy for how the target state is to be reached.
- Execution: Implementing the planned measures. Reinforcing the change, for example by coaching the sponsors and sharing early successes.
- Controlling: Monitoring and assessing results and effects against the predefined objectives and the change strategy, and adjusting the planned measures.
- Closing: Sign-off of the project by sponsors and clients. Reflecting on the change, with particular focus on the sustainability of the impact achieved.
The four knowledge areas
What makes our approach unique
There are various qualification paths on the market. Our CPC approach, however, combines three quality features that are unique in this combination:
This combination of practice, independence and transparency is what sets us apart when you complete your change management certification with us.
“Our goal is to enable people to shape change successfully.”
Jan-Philipp Hölz, Senior Manager at CPC

How is the certification programme structured?
You begin your learning journey with two e-learning trainings, the basic training and the advanced training, both available on the TÜV platform. Each is modular, so you can easily fit it around your daily work. You complete each e-learning level with an online test.
Once you have passed each online test, you can download your certificate of attendance for that level from the TÜV platform. In China you receive your confirmation of attendance by e-mail. Your learning journey ends with the expert training including the “Change Management” certification. The expert training focuses on applying the change management methods you learned in the e-learnings. Beyond that, the exchange with fellow participants from different industries and functions as well as with our trainer is invaluable.
Combine online/offline learning methods and use practical case study.

What do our clients say?
“[…] I like the practical tools you get in the training to learn more about change. It feels less like a mountain and more like a wave. You know what to do, and it is far easier to deal with the change.”
Yasmine Riechers
Country Manager, Sennheiser Greater China
“[…] I liked the online part because it was very well structured. I also liked the repetition, because you can go through it once or several times and really understand the theory. The practical part then sets everything in motion. […]”
