On March 21, the winners of the Great Place to Work® competition "Germany's Best Employers 2024" were announced at a gala at the Kölner Flora. The list of winners comprises 100 companies from various industries and size categories. For the 14th time in a row, CPC is among the winners.
In the overall list of winners of the Great Place to Work® competition, we are in 1st place in the size category of 50 to 100 employees. We also take 1st place among consulting companies with 50 to 250 employees. We are incredibly proud and delighted about these renewed awards.
As change management experts, we place people and the cultural aspects of our clients at the centre of our consulting work. The GPTW ranking shows us that the quality of our own lived corporate culture is excellent too. Since CPC was recognized for the 14th time in a row, this means: we remain Trust Champion Platinum. Only very few companies in Germany carry this award.
A total of 1,054 companies took part in the initiative of the Great Place to Work® Institute this year. The best companies were selected and recognized for their special commitment to shaping a good and trusting workplace culture. The winners were honoured on the basis of an employee survey for their very good corporate culture and the creation of excellent working conditions.
14x in a row among the best companies
Partners of the Great Place to Work® initiative, launched in 2002, include Handelsblatt as well as Personalmagazin. The seal is coveted by employers and popular with applicants. Because developing a future-oriented corporate and workplace culture is a key factor in counteracting the shortage of skilled workers and guaranteeing competitiveness even in difficult economic times. The recognized companies record a significantly lower sickness rate, at 3 days per employee per year, than the national average of 19 days. The so-called Trust Index – the average of all survey results – is 87%, compared with the German national average of 58%.
The basis for the assessment is an anonymous survey of employees on central topics around the workplace, such as leadership, fairness and appreciation, team spirit in collaboration, further training opportunities, support for professional development, social integration and work-life balance. In addition, the quality, diversity and sustainability of the HR work are assessed in a comprehensive culture audit.
