Biography:
Michael Kempf is a member of the executive board and a partner at CPC AG, focusing on change management, organisational development and one-to-one coaching at top management level. In more than 30 years of consulting he has guided large corporations, public administrations and mid-sized organisations through far-reaching change. He designs and delivers tailored change architectures that fit the structure at hand.
On 3 July 2026 we met in Magdeburg for this year's company meeting. Since we mostly work together remotely in our day-to-day business, it was especially good to finally come together in person again and talk away from our screens.
Some colleagues had already travelled in the evening before. Over a relaxed get-together at the Schweizer Milchkuranstalt we were able to catch up in an easy-going atmosphere and start into the company meeting together.
Taking stock at the half-year mark
Friday began with a joint stocktaking. At the midpoint of the year we deliberately took time to look back on the past months: Where do we stand right now? What went well? Which challenges kept us busy? And which developments shaped our clients?
This was not only about successes, but also about the insights gained from demanding situations. The open exchange helped us bring different perspectives together and derive important impulses for the second half of the year.
Project experience from consulting practice
Our client projects then took centre stage. At five market stands our teams shared experiences from a range of projects – from AI initiatives and change management through process organization and strategy activation to guiding comprehensive transformations.
The format created room for direct conversations, follow-up questions and the exchange of experience. At the same time it became clear how varied our projects are and how much knowledge there is within CPC.
It was precisely the personal exchange that made the project marketplace so valuable. Many experiences, approaches and insights come across particularly vividly in direct conversation. At the same time, new impulses emerged for people's own project work.
Shaping the future of CPC together
After the project marketplace we turned our attention forward in the afternoon. The central question was how we want to position and jointly develop CPC in the future. Which topics will become more important for our clients and for ourselves? Where do we want to set new priorities? And how can we deploy our strengths even more purposefully? Working through these questions together helped us connect different points of view and build a shared understanding of the next steps.
After an intensive and insightful day we made our way together to our evening location right on the Elbe. Over good food, plenty of conversation and a great atmosphere we let the company meeting draw to a close.
The company meeting in Magdeburg once again showed how valuable personal exchange is for our collaboration and for developing CPC together.
