Culture work that really has an effect –
and why many initiatives come to nothing
Corporate culture is not an end in itself – it should foster engagement, strengthen performance and drive customer-centricity. Yet these goals often remain unmet. Why? Because the actual challenges stay invisible. On our new product page on culture development, we show what really matters and how sustainable change succeeds.
The 3 biggest stumbling blocks in culture work:
Hidden patterns: values and convictions are often not transparent and are suppressed.
Changes without balance: structures and processes are adjusted, while behaviour and lived convictions are left out – a one-sided approach that gives rise to tensions.
Unclear impact: without measurable progress, success remains vague.
Our 3-phase approach to sustainable culture change:
Thinking Culture: create clarity about goals and strategies
Analyzing Culture: make invisible patterns visible
Working on Culture: implement step by step, iteratively and with quick wins.
Culture work is effective when it is not only discussed, but consistently linked to everyday company life. Early successes create confidence – and make clear how culture directly influences the performance and success of the company.
