However, only the best companies were selected and honored for their outstanding commitment to creating a positive and trusting workplace culture. The list of award winners includes 100 companies and organizations of all sizes and from all industries. They were recognized for their excellent corporate culture and the creation of outstanding working conditions based on an employee survey.

The seal is highly sought after by employers and popular among job applicants. Compared to the average for companies in Germany, employee turnover at the certified companies stands at 7.7% (national average: 14%), and sick days average 4 days (national average: 14.6 days). The so-called Trust Index —the average of all survey results—stands at 87%, compared to the national average of 58%.

The assessment is based on an anonymous survey of employees on key workplace issues such as leadership, fairness and appreciation, team spirit in collaboration, training opportunities, support for professional development, social integration, and work-life balance. In addition, the quality, diversity, and sustainability of human resources work are assessed in a comprehensive culture audit.
