As Change Management consultants, we are always looking for new ways to work with our clients to shape change effectively and sustainably. Change and learning journeys, simulations and gamification play a central role in this.

With this in mind, our colleagues Gunnar Schultze, Michael Kempf, Michael Teubenbacher, Tanja Fischer and Jens Steckler met with Michael Schranner and Lukas Karwan from Lumium GmbH for a workshop this week to explore the use of virtual reality in a change context.

All those who know us know that we are all about measurable impact in change work.

What is behind it?

Many of our customers are familiar with the problem: organizational silos destroy value. On the positive side, effective cross-organizational collaboration is one of the keys to successful organizations. There is less agreement on how the necessary mindset shift should take place.

At Lumium GmbH, we were able to experience first-hand the value of the targeted use of virtual reality as a building block in Change Management .

A strong neural anchor is established here through playful immersion in the content and characteristics of effective collaboration. This subsequently serves as both an empirical and group-dynamic reference point.

What added value do we see?

In addition to proven customer impact in company-wide transformations, it is becoming apparent that physical reactions also reinforce the increased willingness to change through this immersive format. This results in a strong lever for providing changes with the necessary initial momentum.

We look forward to being able to design our change and learning journeys with even more measurable impact in the future with our new partner Lumium! 🚀
