His credo: Knowledge and experience are the foundation of success, which can only be achieved through hands-on action.

Cornelius Klingel from CPC and Tobias Krafft from Trusted AI explain in the trade magazine changement! why people play a key role in the introduction of artificial intelligence (AI).

AI is increasingly becoming part of everyday working life. However, the success of AI systems depends largely on how well they are integrated into the social fabric of an organization. Introducing new technologies therefore requires not only technical expertise, but also a deep understanding of the human aspects of change.

When introducing AI, many companies focus on technical implementation. However, they often overlook the fact that employee acceptance and motivation are crucial. Resistance may arise, hindering the successful use of AI.

A structured change management approach helps to overcome these challenges:

  1. Goals and communication: Clear objectives and transparent communication build trust. It must be explained why AI is being used and how it will improve work.
  2. Human-centered design: AI systems should be designed to promote collaboration between humans and machines. Employees should have the opportunity to actively participate in shaping systems.
  3. Qualification and role clarification: The introduction of AI brings with it new job profiles. It is important to prepare employees for this and strengthen their professional identity.
  4. Continuous adaptation: AI implementations are not one-off projects. Regular feedback and adjustments ensure long-term success.

Managers play a key role in this process. Not only must they lead the way courageously, they must also provide guidance and support to their employees. Ultimately, it is the combination of human expertise and AI that is the key to fully exploiting the potential of the technology. People remain at the center of this process—supported, not replaced, by AI.
