The Certified Associate in Change Management—a TÜV Rheinland-certified qualification—is based on our proven methodology, the CPC Change Compass, and focuses on the systematic development of practical skills. Our method comprises five process groups and four knowledge areas that provide a structured framework for planning, implementing, and sustainably anchoring change projects. These building blocks help participants to design and manage change processes in a targeted and effective manner.
The five process groups
- Initiation: Defining the scope and desired impact of the change project. Collecting and evaluating initial information about the effects of the change.
- Planning: Defining and planning measures in the knowledge areas. Developing a strategy for achieving the target state.
- Execution: Implementation of the planned measures. Reinforcement of the change through, for example, coaching of sponsors and sharing initial successes.
- Controlling: Monitoring and evaluating results and effects based on predefined goals, the change strategy, and adjustments to planned measures.
- Closing: Acceptance of the project by sponsors and customers. Reflection on the change. Special focus on the sustainability of the impact achieved.

There are various certification paths available on the market. However, our CPC approach combines three quality characteristics that are unique in this combination:

- Independent Audit: The final audit is conducted externally and impartially. The quality certification is thus confirmed independently of CPC AG.

How is the certification program structured?
You begin your learning journey by completing two e-learning courses, the basic training and the advanced training, which you can access via the TÜV platform. Both courses have a modular structure, making them easy to integrate into your daily work. You successfully complete the e-learning courses after each level with an online test.

After passing each online test, you can download your certificate of participation for the respective level from the TÜV platform. In China, you will receive your certificate of participation via email. Your learning journey concludes with the expert training, which includes the “Change Management” certification. The expert training focuses on the application of change management methods you learned in the e-learning modules. In addition, the opportunity to exchange ideas with other participants from various industries and fields, as well as with our trainer, is invaluable.
The training is offered in person or remotely by our experienced change managers and concludes with an exam to earn the “Certified Associate in Change Management” designation, which is certified by TÜV Rheinland.
This personal certification is recognized worldwide and is confirmed by a corresponding certificate.
The two e-learning courses can be completed independently of the certification.

Requirements for certification as a Certified Associate in Change Management with TÜV Rheinland-certified qualification
- You must have a general university entrance qualification or a specialized high school diploma. Other qualifications may be accepted.
- You have completed the basic training and advanced training, including passing both online tests. You must present both certificates of participation as proof before the expert training.
- You must have been present for at least 90% of the expert training.
Available languages and logistics for expert training
The complete qualification program is available in German, English, and Chinese.
Expert training courses are held in person in Germany, Austria, China, and Singapore. Online training courses are offered as needed in the respective time zones.
You can find the dates for the expert training sessions at the various locations in our Academy. The expert training sessions have a maximum group size of 16 participants and a minimum of 7 participants.
