On March 21, the winners of the Great Place to Work® competition "Germany's Best Employers 2024" were announced at a gala event at the Flora in Cologne. The list of award winners includes 100 companies from various industries and size categories. CPC is among the winners for the 14th time in a row.
We are ranked first in the overall list of winners of the Great Place to Work® competition in the 50 to 100 employee category. We also rank first among consulting companies with 50 to 250 employees. We are incredibly proud and delighted to have received these awards once again.
As change management experts, we place our clients' people and cultural aspects at the heart of our consulting activities. The GPTW ranking shows us that the quality of our own corporate culture is also excellent. As CPC has been awarded this distinction for the 14th time in a row, this means that we remain a Trust Champion Platinum. Very few companies in Germany have received this award.
A total of 1,054 companies took part in the Great Place to Work® Institute initiative this year. The best companies were selected and honored for their special commitment to creating a positive and trusting workplace culture. The winners were recognized on the basis of an employee survey for their excellent corporate culture and the creation of outstanding working conditions.
Ranked among the best companies 14 times in a row
Partners of the Great Place to Work® initiative, which was launched in 2002, include Handelsblatt and Personalmagazin. The seal is coveted by employers and popular with applicants. This is because developing a forward-looking corporate and workplace culture is a key factor in counteracting the shortage of skilled workers and ensuring competitiveness even in difficult economic times. The award-winning companies have a significantly lower sick leave rate than the national average of 19 days, with 3 days per employee per year. The Trust Index—the average of all survey results—is 87%, compared to the German national average of 58%.
The assessment is based on an anonymous employee survey covering key workplace topics such as leadership, fairness and recognition, teamwork, training opportunities, support for professional development, social integration, and work-life balance. In addition, the quality, diversity, and sustainability of human resources practices are evaluated in a comprehensive cultural audit.
