ERP, CRM, Workplace, Workflows – large system launches are challenging change projects that push organizations and people to their limits. Why are the big system houses secretly happy when CPC takes care of the change?
An internationally active textile manufacturer introduces SAP and is supported by one of the world’s largest system integrators.
The 60-person project team consisting of experts from the company and consultants has been on the road for months. The company’s executive appoints CPC: “I believe we will have a working system after GoLive, but I am afraid our organization does not work anymore.“
The CPC change consultants work with customers and system integration consultants to identify “things to take care of”. For example, “How do we actually tell our customers that they all get new customer IDs and that all order numbers will change?” This and a variety of other change items are made transparent using the CPC Change Tool Set and are, consequently, “managed”.
The GoLive took place on time and all employees, suppliers and customers were prepared. “That was the most professional change management I have ever experienced,” says the system integrator’s project manager. He is sure to know.
Incidentally, our change management budget was less than 2% of the total budget.
