May 05, 2021 - The Great Place to Work ® Institute awards "Germany's Best Employer 2021". We took 8th place in the category of companies with 51 to 100 employees. In the categories "Best Employers in Consulting" and "Best Employers in Hesse", we landed in 5th place this year. As CPC is being honored for the eleventh time in a row, this means that we are still Trust Champion Platinum. Only very few companies in Germany have received this award.
The Great Place to Work ® Institute received around 700 applications this year. However, only the 100 best companies were selected and recognized for their special commitment to creating a good and trusting workplace culture. The seal is coveted by employers and popular with applicants. Compared to the average for companies in Germany, staff turnover at the award-winning companies is 6% (other companies: 14%) and sick days average 8.5 days (other companies: 18.5 days). The number of training days, innovative strength and sales development are also significantly higher than the company average.
The assessment is based on an anonymous survey of employees on key topics relating to the workplace such as leadership, fairness and appreciation, team spirit in cooperation, further training opportunities, support for professional development, social integration and work-life balance. The quality, diversity and sustainability of HR work are also assessed in a comprehensive culture audit. The employee survey is at the forefront of the evaluation and weighting of the two measurement instruments.
While the "Best Employer in Germany" awards were celebrated with a gala event in the previous 18 years, this year's award ceremony took place as a livestream. We were able to tune in from our home offices. That was different. But when our rankings were announced, the mood among our employees was exuberant, as it is every year.
