Anne Babilon-Teubenbacher is a partner at CPC AG and, as CEO Austria, is responsible for the Austrian market. The Certified Associate in Change Management with TÜV Rheinland-certified qualification

As a multiple award-winning hidden champion for change management, we have developed a certification program for change management in collaboration with TÜV Rheinland. TheCertified Associate in Change Management qualification, certified by TÜV Rheinland, is based on our tried-and-tested methodology, the CPC Change Compass, and focuses on the systematic development of practical skills. Our vision is to empower people to successfully shape change in their companies.

Our method comprises five process groups and four knowledge areas that provide a structured framework for planning, implementing, and sustainably anchoring change projects. These building blocks help participants to design and manage change processes in a targeted and effective manner.

The five process groups

  1. Initiation: Defining the scope and desired impact of the change project. Collecting and evaluating initial information about the effects of the change.
  2. Planning: Defining and planning measures in the knowledge areas. Developing a strategy for achieving the target state.
  3. Execution: Implementation of the planned measures. Reinforcement of the change through, for example, coaching of sponsors and sharing initial successes.
  4. Controlling: Monitoring and evaluating results and effects based on predefined goals, the change strategy, and adjustments to planned measures.
  5. Closing: Acceptance of the project by sponsors and customers. Reflection on the change. Special focus on the sustainability of the impact achieved.

The four knowledge areas

It's all about understanding and taking action! Impact Focuses on the intended and actual effects resulting from the implementation of the change project. Starting point for planning, implementing, and controlling the entire change process.

leadership

It's all about leadership! Leadership focuses on actively supporting management and the change team in the change project. Their commitment and empowerment make it possible to address those affected personally in order to increase the success of the change.

Commitment & Enabling

It's all about learning and empowerment! Engagement focuses on the active participation of those affected by the change, while enabling means equipping them with the right attitude, tools, skills, and competencies so that they can cope with the change.

Institutionalization

It's all about sustainability! Institutionalization focuses on embedding change and ensuring that the results achieved are sustainable. Innovations must become part of the organizational culture.

How is the certification program structured?

You begin your learning journey by completing two e-learning courses, the basic training and the advanced training, which you can access via the TÜV platform. Both courses have a modular structure, making them easy to integrate into your daily work. You successfully complete the e-learning courses after each level with an online test. 

After passing each online test, you can download your certificate of participation for the respective level on the TÜV platform. In China, you will receive your certificate of participation by email. Your learning journey ends with expert training, including certification. The focus of the expert training is on applying thechange managementmethods you learned in the e-learning courses. In addition, the exchange with other participants from different industries and fields as well as with our trainer is valuable. The training is offered as face-to-face or remote training by our experienced change managers and concludes with the exam to become a "Certified Associate in Change Management with TÜV Rheinland-certified qualification." This personal certification is recognized worldwide and is confirmed with a corresponding certificate.

The two e-learning courses can be completed independently of the certification.

Requirements for certification as a Certified Associate in Change Management with TÜV Rheinland-certified qualification

  • You must have a general university entrance qualification or a specialized high school diploma. Other qualifications may be accepted.
  • You have completed the basic training and advanced training, including passing both online tests. You must present both certificates of participation as proof before the expert training.
  • You must have been present for at least 90% of the expert training. 

Available languages and logistics for expert training

The complete qualification program is available in German, English, and Chinese. 

Expert training courses are held in person in Germany, Austria, China, and Singapore. Online training courses are available on demand in the respective time zones.
You can find the dates for the expert training courses at the various locations in our Academy. The expert training courses have a maximum group size of 16 participants and a minimum of 7 participants.

Receive and share certificates

Share what you have learned and draw attention to yourself with your new change management knowledge. 

Your certificate of completion

  • Display your certificate on your LinkedIn profile in the "Certificates & Accreditations" section.
  • Add your certificate to your application documents or job applications to demonstrate your change management skills.
  • Use the training courses as proof of the PDUs required for other qualifications, such as the PMP.
