Frankfurt, 04. May 2018 – We are glad to announce that we have had our first ChaVENT successfully with great attendance on 24 April 2018. Let’s recap the Event from four different perspectives.
Anne, ChaVENT Moderator
“Our target as a company is to foster the topic of Change Management on the Chinese market. During our brainstorming on how to approach this challenge, we had the idea to create events related to Change Management. Consequently, our new concept proves to be very valuable. In the preparation and search for the speakers, it was crucial for me to have different angles and perspectives on the topic. Beside the impulse from experts in the business, the participants had the possibility to exchange their experience and discuss questions related to Change Management. The very interesting quality about Change Management is that it affects or can affect anyone. Every industry, particularly at the moment, every function within an organization and every level in the hierarchy is influenced by the transformation. Changes do not spare anybody! Hence, it has a high relevance to stakeholders, which makes the exchange cross-industry priceless.”
Michael, ChaVENT Keynote Speaker
“The ChaVENT was a great experience in terms of knowledge sharing and gaining different perspectives. Change Management requires experience and, in those rounds, it is multiplied. Not having a specific industry focus proved to be particularly valuable as it fostered diversity and thus cross-industry learning. The next ChaVENT expected to focus on specific change aspects and help to drive the exchange to the next level.”
Wendy Yu, ChaVENT organizer
“For an organizer, the people’s response to the topic of Change Management is always an uncharted territory. After all, how to manage change systematically is not well known in China. Yet, there are tremendous changes that take place throughout the country at present. However, ChaVENT proven to be a very interesting and relevant event for the participants. Everyone contributed his or her experience and lessons learned in an open dialogue. The planning for the next ChaVENT has already begun with the hope for more interactive participation.”
Steffi Ye, ChaVENT participant
“At the ChaVENT, we presented methodology of Change Management from General Manager of CPC and the success story of a SAP HR department to illustrate the achievement. Additionally, the presentation from JLL brought an interesting perspective on how the change of an office positively influences Change Management.”
